Google Play Music is mostly preinstalled on Android smartphones but it lacks some features you might need, like browsing music files by folder, editing mp3 tags, etc.

If what you have been looking for is an offline music player with more features, then check out this powerful music player Musicolet, which the developer says it is made for music lovers, created with love, lots of codes and sleepless nights.

The user interface of Musicolet is clean with minimalistic design for easy navigation. It lines up a row of access icons at the bottom of the screen for you to instantly get to your music files by queue, folder, album, artist, genre or playlist.

On the main page “Now Playing”, a tap on the default app logo or album art displays either synced or unsynced lyrics. The player also supports external .lrc files with the same filename (besides the file extension) placed in the same folder.

While browsing audio files in a folder, you can tap a three-dot menu to read song info, add a song to the queue or playlist, move it to a folder or edit tags. The built-in tag editor is excellent as it allows you to update meta tags, including song title, album, artist, track, genre, year, etc., besides editing album art, synced or unsynced lyrics embedded in mp3 files.

Managing playlists is easy too with a tap on the Playlist icon. From here you can also check out all songs, favorite songs, recently added or played songs, most played and not played songs available from your device.

This player is currently the only Android app that allows multiple queues of songs for playback, as well as supporting equalizer, sleep timer, headset controls and sharing songs from within the app.

Best of all, it is free with no ads, definitely a superb offline music player with great features worth keeping on your device.
