Windows 10 Creators Update now available.
Using the Update Assistant from this official page, downloaded Windows10Upgrade9194.exe, and ran it to update Windows 10 to the latest version 15063. Had a play at Paint 3D and some new features, looks good and will try out more. |

Creators Update installed via WU without much hassle but, once again, the upgrade disabled System Restore on my machine. Also check your settings again if you use O&OShutUp10 or similar because it changes those settings as well.
Other than that everything is running fine. |

Lucky you guys.
I had a hell of a time after updating via update assistant. Mainly because Windows defender and relate security center was not working until, after one refresh, hours of errors and trials I found out that MBAE free is the cause. It seems that WD is not happy with third party security apps, on my system at least. So no MBAE for me. The rest all works fine. EDIT: BTW O&OShutUp just released a CU compatible version. |

Google Chrome is having issues after Windows 10 Creators Update:
The window to log in to a user doesn't show in Chrome, removing an extension is not responding in Chrome, adding a post to this forum with an URL doesn't work in Chrome. It nearly comes to a stage of useless for Chrome in Windows 10 Creators Update! But Firefox seems to work well after this update so far. Uninstalled Chrome and reinstalled it, problems remain... Similar issues reported here: http://forums.windowscentral.com/win...rs-update.html For the time being, I'm using Firefox and Edge on this updated machine and keep another machine without the update. |

Tried also Chrome portable. None of them worked properly. ![]() Bye-bye Chrome for the time being on this updated machine. I'm now relying on Firefox as the main browser and Edge as the secondary browser, and rebuild my frequently used bookmarks. Time to remove lots of old bookmarks too. ![]() Last edited by Jojo Yee; 13. Apr 2017 at 10:54 AM. |

Maybe this is an intentional 'bug' from Microsoft to annoy Google as their "Fuchsia" OS approaches?

This issue (Chrome doesn't work in Windows 10 Creators Update) has been identified as "Popup dialog boxes are not displaying" and filed by a user under Issue 710560 to Chromium Bugs.
It is reported that resetting chrome://flags will solve the problem. Will try it tomorrow on that updated desktop. |
