I've been forced to confront the fact that Windows 7 is dead (14 Jan 2020) and I must migrate to Windows 10. I've been using Sandboxie for many years on Win7 and have loved it, but I'm already seeing indications on the Sophos forum that Windows 10's biennial upgrades can potentially break it any time. Without strong developer and technical support, Sandboxie clearly cannot survive this situation. Is it time to give up on Sandboxie and move on? If so, to what? -- jclarkw Last edited by MidnightCowboy; 16. Nov 2019 at 07:02 AM. Reason: Commercial reference removed as per site rules |

I'd say not yet. The newest Windows 10 update is compatible with Sandboxie. While it is moving to "open source" eventually, it still works fine with Windows 10. At least, I haven't given up on it yet.
