The past couple of weeks I have being trying VoodooShield free edition. Does anyone use this product here? How does it compare to Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit?
I understand that MBAE is only going to be available as a perpetual beta since the advent of Malwarebytes 3. I found WoodooShield Free requiring quite a bit of interaction from the user. Not a 'set up and forget' app like MBAE. Any thoughts on the subject? BTW Happy New Year to all. L.M |

A bit late in the game... but with recent ransomware making the headlines, i decided to give this VoodooShield free version a spin and, as L.M said, VS does require a bit of user interaction but once everything is installed and running as usual, it is quite handy.
Saw video where VS practically blocks any malware etc. I'm liking it so far. |

Both of these products have an extensive following, and a very long thread, over at Wilders. In fact, if you are a Wilder's member, the developer will give you a free lifetime license to VoodooShield.
I use and swear by VoodooShield. I think it's a great product and the developer is a super nice guy.

I'm a bit late, but let me weigh in, as well.
I have been using VS for over a year and I now have a licensed version. The developer is a really decent person, very good customer service skills; he gave me the license because I had an update issue some 6 months ago, nothing major, but by resolving it this way, he has made me a lifetime admirer of both him and VS. This is another layer I use along with Sandboxie, Winpatrol and a realtime A/V. Like Kendall, I swear by it, just like SBIE. It's because of this forum that I found VS. I am happy with it, makes me feel a lot more secure.
