Introduction

This is a listing of 24 sites that legally offer free Math audio and video materials and courses.

All of these sites listed have content that is legal for them to distribute and for you to read and/or download..  If you find that any site listed is offering content that can not be legally transferred, please let me know in the comments below.

This list is not comprehensive and if you know of any other sites please post in the comments below or at our forums.

Academic Earth   has a large selection of what appear to be college level mathematics related courses available for free viewing online without registration.

DailyLit offers 10 of the Khan Academy's math related video tutorials for free.  These are delivered in installments daily to your email.  Registration with valid email required.

Dovermann's Derive Videos   has a collection of videos on Derive available for free viewing online or for free download as AVI.

EDU College YouTube  offers a large collection of video courses in mathematics subjects for free viewing online.

EDU Primary & Secondary YouTube   YouTube offers mathematics related video courses for kindergarten through 12th grade for free viewing online.

Free Math Help offers free video courses (as well as written ones) in 6 disciplines of Mathematics.  Allavailable for free viewing online without registration.

Harvard Exension School  offers a free online audio and video course in Sets, Counting & Probability and also a free Abstract Algebra online audio and video course.

HippoCampus   has a good collection of free mathematics instuctional videos for free viewing online without registration.  These range from basic to advanced.

Insights Into Mathematics   has a good selection of Mathematics related videos and instruction available at YouTube for free viewing online without registration.

Is All About Math   has a smaller collection of free online mathematics related videos.  All are available for free online viewing without registration.

Khan Academy  offers a large selection of video mathematics related courses for free viewing online without registration.  Press Watch up top and select Math and then select the course you want form several sub-directories.

Lit2Go   offers 12 full free classic audiobooks on the subject of Mathematics.  All are available for free download in MP3 without registration.  There are also some excerpts that appear to be for younger children.

MasterMath free online video courses for Middle School available for free viewing online without registration.  Worksheets and quizzes accompany each video.

Math Flix Loyola University of Chicago offers a large collection of free Quicktime videos in a wide variety of Math related items.  This is geared to High School learning level.

MathTV   has a large number of mathematics instructional videos for free viewing online without registration.   These appear to be basic.  There are also video Textbooks, which look to be more advanced.

Midnight Tutor   has a large collection of free online Calculus instrucional videos for free viewing online without registration.

MIT OpenCourseware   has a large listing of their free college level mathematics courses.

OpenCulture provides links to about 20 free math audio and video courses online.

Patrick JMT   offers a huge collection of free math instruction videos.  All are available for free viewing online without registration.  These range from bassic to advanced.

Science For Kids offers 6 fre videos in its Math section aimed at young children first learning .

Tutor-USA offers free video lessons in eight areas of math.  All are available for free viewing online without registration.

UC Berkeley has a good selection of current mathematics courses available as free audio and video downloads from the iTunes store.  All are available as free audio and some also as free video.

Watch Know Learn has almost 5,000 free videos in the area of Mathematics available for free viewing online without registration.

YAY Math! a site started by a High School teacher who filmed mathc classes in Algebra and Geometry.  These videos are available for free viewing online without registration.
