I installed the Windows 10 anniversary update, and it broke the 7+ Taskbar Tweaker program I had. Supposedly the author has an alpha build to fix it for people who donate.
Since I only care about two functions from it, volume change by scrolling mouse in traybar and middle click to close window, I decided to google autohotkey codes to make my own program. here's the code for it if anyone else wanted these two features that got broken by windows 10 update. It's using Autohotkey if someone wants to just compile it themself, if you don't trust my link. Quote:
maybe not the prettiest solution, but it works and I'm happy enough to leave it along. |

Hi,
My TT no longer works after the April 2018 Update. I would be grateful if you could provide a code snippet as follows. I don't group my taskbar buttons by program (AKA, "stacking"). But TT allowed me to drag buttons independently. In other words, if I had 3 Chrome buttons, then dragging one button did not drag the other two buttons. Maybe even a few links might help. I'm not a techie but I've written "sledgehammer" programs or scripts that no-one else can understand :-) Thanks. |
