I've had it playing through the day while I've been working, still hasn't crashed, no connection drop and the presets have updated daily. Haven't had time to try the portable but I'd be interested to know how it perfoms. Maybe I'll try it over the weekend.

Looks like Tapin has bitten the dust. It's not updating the station files anymore and the website is down, although the player is still working. Couldn't work out what was happening so did a bit of searching around and found an announcement on the Tapin Facebook page.
Seems to be some disageement between the developers so who knows what will happen. I still use Tapin a lot - shame if it goes the same way as the Spider, but it doesn't look too promising at the moment ![]() |

Tapin is up and running again, a new version is available and the station database is updating. The latest version has a new station browser, much easier to navigate. Tapin is now here at Raimersoft and is still free, although looking at the FB page I noticed this - "Philip Oldaker the programmer of Tapin-radio has decided to continue development under Raimersoft patronation. So the software lives on and should remain free for the foreseeable future."
I've been away for a while and so didn't notice this until I got back, the new version was released on March 25th, but it's all working perfect again and is still a very good radio player. |

Another new version of Tapin, 1.33 has been released. It downloaded via the program without a problem. The station database also updated to a new version via the program. I think a new database is released every Monday now - as opposed to every day like it used to be.
I looked at the Tapin Radio Webpage and noticed this under the list of key features; "Benefits - Free - while stocks last" Not quite sure what that might mean but I don't recall it saying that before, although I could be wrong. Best keep an eye on it though, because the other two radio players on the site are paid. |

I'm just hoping it stays free because I'd be lost without Tapin now. The station database is mindblowing, it plays pretty much all day here - never crashed once. Listen while you work was never better.

@deya,
I have updated to v.36.3 via the program and it works fine; the download was 8.2 MB. Had a quick look at EarthMedia and it looks like it could be worth a try, many thanks for the link. ![]()

New version 1.37.1 now available at:
http://www.raimersoft.com/tapinradio.aspx If you have it already installed, then of course, you can update from within the program. ![]()
