Burning music to a CD. On the hard drive the pieces have their title like “That will be the day” when in is on the CD its Track01 etc. and the same on all the other pieces, can you tell me why, I used both Nero and BurnAware to burn the disc, the outcome it the same.

Thanks Jojo
Sorry but that does not help me I have the music some from LP and cut up with Audacity and named the pieces, and ripped from CDs and downloaded off the net, on a hard drive, and until recently I have had no problems, the names on the CD they were what I called them, but now just Track01 Track02 etc the last time I did it I was on Win 8 |

Possibly this might help. I'd ignore the recommendation for commercial software which in 95% of all cases with Windows is totally unnecessary as freeware apps do the job just as well or better.

Thanks Midnight Cowboy
I did not find any thing to help I have been looking through the Properties of the pieces of music, some have the name of piece and the album name both at the top and bottom of Details and others have only at the bottom. The only way I have found is through Audacity you can type them in 1 at a time. What I really want is some way of downloading the info to the pieces. I have seen it mentioned before but no software to do it. Blueflame |
