I am looking for a Windows program that will act like a DVR when recording web content. I want to be able to pause, rewind, and fast forward what I am watching while the program continues to record the incoming material in the background.
With my DVR I record sports events. I start watching after they are about half over so that I can skip commercials. I can't find anything for doing the same thing with web traffic. Everything seems to be designed to record the whole thing then make modifications to the resulting file after it is finished recording. For some reason gizmo's won't let me include the usual term "str...eam". Any idea what that is all about? |

Looks as though WM Recorder will do it. Still investigating. Any experience or rumors with that?
