I work in medical records. Daily I scan hundreds of records into my email and save them as pdf files. Is there a way to scan all these records and have a batch utility to split them into individual pdf files? Maybe break on the header (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, etc.) and patient name. Being an old mainframe programmer, I am hoping there is an easier method. We have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. I know this will probably put me out of a job but this is tedious work.

See if Naps2 can do what you want. As easy to use as possible and working great. There's even a command line interface you can use.
