Further to my post above, I still have this problem almost daily (although there are periods when it does not occur). Just lately it has been particularly bad. Although it has been explained why this occurs, I can't be the only person who has this problem regularly and I wonder if new members may be put off by having to work round this time and time again. Surely it is time to look at a more permanent solution to a problem which may be costing us members? This is literally the ONLY site out of the dozens I regularly frequent which has this problem.

I have this problem from time to time but I found a way to fix it
I set the browser to save/protect the cookie on this site, when I got problem of logging in, I manually find the cookies for the site (or just clear it all) and delete it. then problem is fixed when new cookie is made (at least for me) I don't know why but it seems like just relogging in doesn't overwrite the old cookie so it confuses browser or something when you login again with a new cookie |
