Default "Redo" backup and recovery

Anybody familiar with this Linux live CD for backup and recovery of Windows systems without having to boot into Windows?

I'll give that a spin, it looks interesting...

I recently lost faith a little in Paragon BR (which also boots from a Linux CD), as after I resized my C:\ partition it had problems restoring my O/S properly. So I've been looking around for some alternatives to try out. (To be fair, the resizing was done with MiniTool Partition Wizard which has given me problems in the past, so it might be that rather than Paragon...)

It seems to have a lot of features, I'll burn off a copy now and have a play with it. Thanks for the link.

Redo seems quite good, it boots ok on my laptop if I choose Safe Mode, but their promises of speed seem somewhat optimistic to me at least.

Once running it seems like fairly standard Linux fare... nice desktop, a few apps such as Gparted and a file manager, and the drive backer upper which I've not tried yet.
Am I right in thinking that Linux still doesn't read ntfs? I was unable to use the file manager anyway, there are a couple of different error messages one of which relates to daemon... I can post these in more detail if anyone's interested.

After this anyway, I discovered that my Paragon problem is most likely a case of user error/rtfm ... it seems that there is a problem in restoring a partition to a new partition which is smaller than the original, even though the smaller partition is still plenty large enough to contain the amount in question.
I don't get the logic behind that but it has restored (no pun intended..) my faith in Paragon BR.
