Default Today i'm mostly listening to...

There are quite a few links to various tunes scattered around the forums but i don't recall seeing a dedicated thread anywhere, and just about every forum i've ever visited has a thread like this, so here it is and here are half a dozen tunes i've listened to already today.

Today i'm mostly listening to....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uve1QZ9izK4

It'd be nice to know the kind of stuff other people are listening to

Dang! You are a rocker Garth!!!

You might find it interesting to know that one of the Child Psychiatrists who works for me is the lead singer in a Judas Priest tribute band. He's the lead singer. If you met him, you'd never believe it.

Actually, he's the same psychiatrist that came to work last Halloween dressed up as Darth Vadar.

P.S. Just ask MC, one has to be at least slightly odd to work in the field of psychology/psychiatry....

Maybe cause for concern if he starts coming to work in it every day....

Metal? ... no way ... too hard on my ears.

Well, don't expect much from me in this section.. because I don't listen to much of English songs. So, I will be having very little to share. I mostly know about the artists who get famous, and their songs get famous too.. and that's how I come to listen them.

I am totally zilch when it comes to English songs. My brother listens to them a lot, and he has quite a wide variety of choice. But, unfortunately, he cant post here .

I mostly listen to Hindi songs.. but that too.. I listen much less music nowadays. Most of the time I am busy here in front of the computer

You need a multi-core multi-tasking processor Anupam. Eyes and the brain are for the computer and the ears are for music.

Since Anupan is a little shy about posting songs by Indian musicians, I ll
help him out today.

This one is by legendary Ravi Shankar and his beautiful daughter. By the
way Anupam, many great Western musicians are heavily influenced by
Indian music at some point in their career. Just to name a few. Devadip
Carlos Santana, Mahavishnu John McLaughlin and George Harrison.
Here is the legend and his daughter.

I believe they were more heavily influenced by the other stuff they came into contact with whilst over there!
