I've seen this style of music live, mostly at brew pubs and bistros and it creates a wonderful atmosphere. Although this duo belongs in the top echelon. |

Today is Saturday, how about a movie? I mean a song that is almost
as long as a movie and when you hear it, is like watching a movie. This song by Dylan is about crazy Joe Gallo, a NY gangster whose life and death is what this song is all about. Dylan glorified Gallos life on this song, for that he was heavily criticized but the song has amazing lyrics and music. Crazy Joe was a real life "Tommy Udo", the villain in the movie Kiss of Death, portrayed by Richard Widmark. Gallo emulated Udo in real life by acting and dressing like him and admitted it. Gallo Udo That said, take the song as a movie, a Hollywood movie in which the truth gets twisted a bit. If you know Joe Gallos story, you ll know whats real and what is not. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qkYh-9PFHVM The lyrics http://www.elyrics.net/read/b/bob-dy...ey-lyrics.html Bo Last edited by bo.elam; 27. Often much ridiculed but spawned a whole host of household names including Chris Tarrant, Sally James and Lenny Henry. I also remember Jasper Carrott starting out here. One time he presented some sort of dance routine (can't remember what it was called now) which caused a whole herd of folks to go to casualty
