Trisquel 6.0 LTS "Toutatis" with malys-uniSEX(clear) theme, Win2-7 window borders and Wren folder icons. Selection of Screenlets also shown. The Bitdefender tray icon is for the free Linux scanner they provide which also includes a handy drop zone for the desktop (when enabled). Korora wallpaper used - shame really because I used to like Korora but the latest version 19 will not even run on my NVIDIA box and in the ATI machine the notorious Anaconda installer crashes every time. Talk about Linux shooting itself in the foot. The Fedora installer used to be IMO the best around, now it's just garbage.

+1 The background looks great. From a distance it looks like brushed metal but closer like hessian. What is it?

But it is disconcerting to see a Windows-style window floating in a sea of Linux.

Definitely more like hessian. Can't be any more precise other than it's the new default Korora background which I copied from their live DVD.

I just happen to like the Windows type border and being Linux of course you can change these without having to buy a third party program. This one is quite neat too - called "PS3"
