It's always useful to be able to search the web quickly and efficiently. If you use Bing, or if you want to consider trying it, the Bing Desktop utility is the easiest way to do so.
The Bing Desktop, a freeware program from Microsoft, puts a search box on your Windows desktop so you can quickly search the web with the Bing search engine from wherevever you happen to be on your computer. The program also configures your Windows wallpaper so that it loads a stunning background photo from Microsoft, which automatically changes on a regular basis. If you prefer not to have your desktop wallpaper changed (I prefer a plain blue, but maybe I'm old-fashioned), you can choose to opt out of that part.
Bing Desktop is a 10 MB download and https://www.bing.com/explore/desktop is the place to head for the download. It's malware-free according to VirusTotal and Web of Trust.

Thanks, Rob. I am sticking to my silence.
This Bing desktop is nice, kind of replaces Clickto which has become shareware.
You wonder now why Microsoft can't come up with a decent browser...
If they would only hire the guy who did NetCaptor, then i think Google would have to do more than just fix bugs. Ha!
And I thought I was the only person left in the world who can't stand pictures as desktops, or pictures on mouse mats. But then I can't work with the radio on either.
