If Windows 10 doesn't detect your printer when you install it, one of these workarounds just might get it up and running.

Older hardware is often an issue with new versions of Windows. Manufacturers don't always update the drivers for older printers to work with the latest Windows version. Upgrades of Windows 10 sometimes aren't compatible with printers that were working in the previous version. There's often a lag until manufacturers release driver updates for the current Windows version. And, in an effort to make upgrades smaller, Microsoft will start excluding printer and scanner drivers in Windows 10 versions starting with the next release, version 1809.
