Microsoft Hearts is one of the most popular games alongside Solitaire and Minesweeper that have been included in most versions of Windows up to Windows 7. It is a well designed application with excellent graphics and smooth animations. You can change the appearance of card decks and background boards from a few choices given.

The game application comes with optional sound effects, game tips and allows you to save games to continue the next steps when you decide to return to the game.

It also provides game statistics including the current game score and overall statistics, like games played, games won, win percentage and more.

On the downside, the gameplay in this application is fixed with standard rules of Hearts and it does not give you an option to select any other game rules.
