Or are Linux users SO selfish that they don't care about the rest of the world. The same selfishness applies to all those people who refuse to get inoculations and keep human diseases alive when they can be obliterated once and for all.
But you said ..."its refusal to acknowledge its vulnerabilities and take serious steps to protect the user."... not other Windows users.

I had assumed that you were sociable enough to consider any computer user (WHAT EVER OS) as a user,but I was obviously grossly mistaken about that and your suitability for being a member of society.

But I have a Facebook account, surely that's gotta count for something?

It probably qualifies for admittance to an asylum!!

Facebook is one of those things that I have managed to avoid, even under duress from potential employers.
I cannot understand the people who want to tell the World what they are doing all the time.

It seems that even if we're not on Facebook, they still find plenty of "data" on us via third parties.

Btw, what if INTEL itself had a flaw... a backdoor...?
Could the almighty Windows or any other OS protect us then?

You've heard of Meltdown & Spectre?

Here are a few more...

Somehow I feel sorry for Microsoft being expected to fix Intel's mess.

How to get the Windows 10 May 2019 Update;

https://blogs.windows.com/windowsexp...y-2019-update/

" .... we are beginning to make the Windows 10 May Update available. We will be taking a measured and throttled approach, allowing us to study device health data as we increase availability via Windows Update"

Current status as of June 6, 2019: Windows 10, version 1903 is available for any user who manually selects “Check for updates” via Windows Update;

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...indows-10-1903

... or, if you don't want it then don't click 'check for updates'

Although if there any known issues with your PC it won't show up anyway.

I've been using 1903 for some weeks now, used the Win10 Update Assistant. It took quite a while to update but it runs ok. There were one or two glitches at first but after a cumulative update things have settled down so now, if you do install it, the initial bugs should have been ironed out.
