WhatsApp cannot support the sending of all file types natively. A recently launched free third-party app called SendAnyFile claims to offer a way to send any file format via WhatsApp and other services like Facebook Messenger and more.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...an.sendanyfile For Android 4.4 and up. 2.42 MB. The app is free, but ad-supported. |

Interesting, although it's not exactly a new concept, I've used it to hide files from prying eyes before
Basically you rename the file as a document, which doesn't get compressed by WhatsApp of facebook messenger, and I'm guessing add a wrapper to it so that the other side knows what to do with it, send it, and then name it back to the original name, and if necessary, remove the wrapper. It also requires both sides to install the app, which makes me wonder why you then wouldn't just use an entirely different app to send the files.
