Have been following Vivaldi browser evolution from day one and it is pretty well now my default.

1. Sync feature (bookmarks, extensions etc.) has vastly improved.
It even remembers my settings!
Firefox does not always correct the updated passwords on more than a few.
Vivaldi has been impeccable here.
Opera does not yet re-install extensions on clean setup.

2. Close tabs on right-click (left and right) option is appreciated.
Firefox nor Opera have that integrated.
TabMixPlus used to do it for Firefox but that is long gone.

3. Recent Android iteration has been long called for and is now here, yay!

4. Vivaldi may not start up as fast as Opera but it beats Firefox and page rendering is at par with either.

5. Vivaldi forum is much similar to what Opera used to be (and more).

Its my number 1 but it does seem to lose tabs once in a while...So I use FreshStart as a session saver...

Glad to hear i'm not the only outcast here!

Sure, Vivaldi has its quirks, but all things considered, it is constantly innovating (not taking away useful options like Firefox does and who in turn introduce unwanted ones).

I like that the Tabs on the side its a part of the browser not an extension, I have nothing but trouble with that extension in Brave...Firefox..etc..,
If Brave had it built in than Brave would be a close second for me and maybe my #1 because I like the interface better than Vivaldi
I like my tabs...on the left side....Not top or bottom

I'm not sure about tabs on the side.
Will have to give it a try!

Do like the fact that you can easily add a "nickname" (=keyword in Firefox) to a bookmark simply by clicking on the little icon in url box. A much quicker procedure than Firefox. Not sure if Brave has that (Opera doesn't).
