How do you clear out searched items on search engines?

Have cleared browser cache and everything else i can see on Windows C with its disk tools but things searched for on search engines online still appear.

You have to clear the Cookies.

Did that EldonW (at least on Firefox for now) and they still show up even after restarting browser.

Did notice that DuckDuckGo doesn't keep 'em.

might be saved as form data? clear the input field cache

@eyeb - did that too just a bit ago, still no go.

The search engine seems to keep your input 'cause i went over from Vivaldi to Firefox (cleared cache there too) and it still offered previous entries. Not a good thing.

by chance is it the same search engine? Google/yahoo or something?

it might be possible that google itself is saving it if you are logged in at the time. You have to go into your user data in google account to clear it out. I ask because Youtube searches are like this too. You can turn it off if you want if this is what is happening
