Default Angry Birds Rio (full version) FREE on iOS

I removed the free version from my iPod 4 a while ago, because of limited levels and it wasn't updating. I mean, my Galaxy Note gets all the levels for free (albeit ad-supported), and even some Samsung exclusives (on Space).

Anyways, while I was searching for a way to unlock all the levels without jailbreaking or pirating (because I don't want too many of the same type of game on one device), I found this: http://news.softpedia.com/news/Angry...e-322206.shtml

The $0.99 version is still free on iTunes, so grab it while you can! I did, and am currently enjoying it along with Angry Birds Space & Star Wars on phone, Angry Birds Chrome (includes Original and Seasons) on laptop, and Angry Birds on PSP. Yes, I'm a fanatic of the series.

The original Angry Birds became free on iOS as well, albeit for different reasons: http://www.idownloadblog.com/2013/03...ry-birds-free/

Angry Birds used to have a free version and a paid version. I think the developer has removed the free version from the stores and combined the two versions into a freemium version, i.e., a free version with in-app purchases for more advanced features or power-ups.

Angry Birds Rio and maybe other editions are following the same direction. The so-called 'Full Version' Free may be misleading users into getting all advanced features without any in-app purchases and I note that Softpedia is linking to the App store for downloading the app which is still a freemium version, or is that something I might have missed out?

Updated Angry Birds and added Angry Birds Rio to the lists of Best Free Android Apps and Best Free iPad Apps.

Strangely, Angry Birds isn't free anymore (except for their level-limited ad-ridden version). Angry Birds Rio is still fully available.

I don't think there are advanced features to be unlocked, but in-app purchases exists for optional power-ups I never use.
