Okay, I did try WPS Office for Linux sooner than I thought. Here's what I found...

It messes up the cell color of my spreadsheets.

This is what a snip from an xls looks like before

and this is what it looks after.

Notice the pixelated pattern on the right.

Also, looking at some of my docs, I noticed that my numbered lists have lost their numbering!

I am sure if I kept looking I would have found more issues but what I found so far was quite enough. I know I can fix these issues but it will take time and I might have to go through my documents one by one! That is just not feasible, so I am afraid I'll have to blank WPS.

WPS Office for Linux is still in Alpha v20. Maybe that's why you have got to wait till it is stable.
