New Interface [Link edited out. Gives 3/39 (now down to 2 ) with VirusTotal as being malicious including two of the leading antivirus products. These may be false positives but we need to err on the side of caution]https://www.virustotal.com/en/url/a3...is/1371028335/ Quote:
You could choose 3 different styles for the interface, and now it's got a more modern touch. Documents looks more or so like PDF style, or Word 2013? Also I noticed the change in logo.

No need to download Kingsoft Office from FileHippo. It can be found here:
Link not approved. See comment in first post. The download is not bundled with CNET crap. Last edited by MidnightCowboy; 12. Jun 2013 at 04:58 PM. Reason: Link not approved |

I have King Soft on my computer.. But I use symphony... 2 reasons
1. Tabs like King Soft 2. On the spread sheet when you input a number like 8.25 Kingsoft makes it 8.3 to fit in the space..No big deal you say..but it also prints it that way not good if you use for a time sheet like I do... Symphony doesn't do this... But thank you for the update...I did download the update hoping it was fixed but it wasn't.

For instance 8.25 becomes 8.3 (which is the ideal way to display), which is better than showing as 8.2 (as shown in Symphony you say?) But if the cell size is large enough to accomodate 3 digits, it shows as 8.25 itself for me, both in MS Excel and Kingsoft.

Feeling like I've been living under a ROCK for not checking this suite out sooner. Libre Office still fits the "Pro" bill to me for including a relational database functionality, but choices are a wonderful thing to have!

I just saw that the latest version of Kingsoft allows you to save the documents in .DOCX format. This makes Kingsoft as the first ever free office suite to support saving in .DOCX format
I believe... Although I'm not sure about .PPTX and .XLSXSource: Softpedia changelog
