This is a multiple question.
1. In a dual boot scenario with Windows 10, does the Linux distro possibly fix in the process those that may be broken or outdated on the Windows side? I don't know how to check where the drivers are on the Linux side. 2. Driver Booster (free ed.) identified more drivers needing update (and pro to do that) as well as a broken ethernet (network) driver. Now, updating (fixing) it manually didn't do anything. How can it be fixed without going through the hassle of forking out $ for the pro version? 3. Spotted "Snappy Driver Installer Origin" today as an opensource alternative to Driver Booster. Anyone familiar with it? |
