Looking for simple text based RPG

Hello all,

Many years ago I would enjoy playing games like Beyond Zork and Wishbringer, both text based RPGs. Are there any new games similar to those being actively worked on today?

I have reviewed them in my Best Free PC Games article.

Scroll down to Best Free Adventure Games, and under that there are 3 types of Best Free Interactive Fiction Games

1. Graphic Adventure/Point n Click
2. Text Based/Narrative
3. Visual/Graphic Novels

The ones under them are what I loved the most among those I've played.
