Default CryEngine 3 arrival

Every new year technology leave us stunned with all the demos and preview of upcoming stuff. E3 is an example of this. Everyone know what is it. In E3 all game developers give us a flash forward of their new games and technologies creations. CryTek is one of that developers. I see the first preview of CryEngine 3 there. Sadly they were not giving enough details about it but finally we can know more about it and get realized. So no more talking:

CryEngine 3 and its booming launching

Lovely, just need to know system requirements for this work of art. My MSI GT70 0NC gaming laptop should be strong enough right?

Should be good enough.

These are the system requirements to run Crytek's CryEngine 3 (not Crysys 3) available in the CryDev Community webpage:

System Requirements [Developer]
• Operating System: Windows XP SP2, Windows Vista SP1, Windows 7
• CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz, AMD Athlon 64 X2 2GHz or better (a multi-core processor is strongly recommended)
• Memory: 2 GB RAM (4 GB recommended)
• Video Card: nVidia 8800GT 512MB RAM, ATI 3850HD 512MB RAM or better (SM 3.0 minimum)

System Requirements [End User]
End Users who only use the game launcher without Sandbox have lower system requirements.
• Operating System: Windows XP SP2, Windows Vista SP1, Windows 7
• CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz, AMD Athlon 64 X2 2GHz or better (a multi-core processor is strongly recommended)
• Memory: 1 GB RAM (2 GB recommended)
• Video Card: nVidia 8800GT 512MB RAM, ATI 3850HD 512MB RAM or better (SM 3.0 minimum)

This is the source

Also want to make a point about Crysys 3 and Radeon users. This is probably best working configuration to play Crysys 3 (aiming to image quality without impact on performance (via AMD's blog):

And because it's free a link to download CryEngine 3 Free SDK (1.2 GB)

In fact, its was released in the 2009 edition of the GDC but because it has been severely improved at end of last year it's practically new, also Crysys 3 launching is involved on this.

Do you think I should change topic title ? Any suggestion?

Yeah maybe, CryEngine 3: Redefining Gaming . But I'm afraid only the mods can change it now.

Am dying to see the launch of Source 2 Engine.
