mp3 boom

hi im newbie here , i have recently put winows 8.1 operating system on my desktop i used to use windows 7 my mp3 boom dosent work now on windows 8 now for some reason you click on track you have searched for it dosent play does anyone know why this is or has anyone had same problems in past if so i would be very greatful for any help thankyou
