Hello:
I've just spent a hour with "good ole spambot" silliness trying to send the following feedback. Since I can't use the "website feedback form" (seems I'm a machine) cant send email (heaven forbid!) and can't contact Gizmo directly, can someone please see he gets the following message? It also concerns (Item # 2) the Easeus Product Giveaway after I spent a hour talking last night (Central Standard Time USA) to the Chinese company directly. Sales staff not the nicest people (heads up)... General Comments Gizmo! Hi ! hope you're having a great day! I wanted to do (2) things: 1. Offer some general website feedback... 2. Comment on the $90 Value giveaway of the Easeus Data Recovery PRO Item 1. (Website) - great design layout (nice also have BOTH Windows AND Linux!) Concise "to the point" reviews (to me) little icon clutter in places (makes it harder for those who use screen readers like the visually impaired/low vision folks) Wish List: please cover "specialized items" in one small section (like bootstrap loaders) please... I love mine! Why use only one OS (esp. now with WIN10.. (Smile) 2. The $90 value Easeus. - You need to please tell people here some missing information I got from calling the company yesterday.... A. The license IS NOT lifetime - it's one use and if you need later re-install, too bad...Be prepared to buy! Sales department was quite clear (not nice but clear) - they did offer me a 30% discount on full price for "my inconvenience"... B. This CANNOT be installed on the same drive you wish to recover from. I use a bootstrapper (for my 3 LINUX clones) so I'd have to install it all by itself on a separate partition... The install wizard mentions this - but if someone doesn't see it.... c. This specific sales person had "no idea" this was offered in a "giveaway" (he claims). I'm sure you're honest and ethical - I AM NOT saying you are not! No! He told me (generally speaking Im sure) "discounted" but not "free"... Again, maybe a new guy? (4) Website SUGGESTIONS: 1. Ability to save articles as .pdf or easily make screenshots 2. Website section for "newbies to Linux" - help them feel less intimidated (it can at first be overwhelming) and maybe a website volunteer (or two) willing to take "newbie" questions... 3. Website tutorial (screenshots?) how to set up dual boot into both WIN & Linux (step-by-step .pdf or a .mp4 or movie video) 4. Software section for low vision - visually impaired.... Thank you! Hope maybe this helps.. Overall: GREAT SITE! Hope you put BIG dividing line between "freeware" and "paidware" Last edited by MidnightCowboy; 30. Oct 2015 at 06:39 AM.
