Looked at the latest Ultimate myself and retain the same feelings towards it as I did before, as in what's the point? Layers of built in customizations that were far from stable on my system together with a truck load of stuff I'll never use makes me think that a lot of folks would be better off with a lighter spin and tweaking it themselves.
This below is back to Xubuntu 12.04 x64. The more I switch back into this system the more I like it. It's neat, fast, efficient and completely stable despite the odd ghost warnings about app crashes. ![]()

By comparison to the shot above, this is just a small example of what is possible with the AwOken icon set customization script. This again is Xubuntu 12.04 x 64
1 Type in a terminal window: * sudo add-apt-repository ppa:alecive/antigone * sudo apt-get update * sudo apt-get install awoken-icon-theme * awoken-icon-theme-customization 2 Follow Instructions With ppa subscription you can always get the newest version on your machine. But to see the improvements, you have to configure (or re-configure) at least once the iconset either for clear version, or dark version, or even a colored one.
