Lightworks is a famous tool among filmmakers because it is one of the oldest ones on the market and because it has been used for some Hollywood movies production. Its flagship tool is video trimming, yet there are other features Lightworks offers for free. You can edit audio work with titles, apply transitions and use more than a hundred of built-in presets.

Lightworks supports all of most popular video formats and allows you to edit them, however, the free version only provides you with online video upload option for export. In other words, you can publish your project directly to your YouTube or Vimeo channel, but you can't save it to your desktop. However, if you were planning to upload ready videos online anyway, that shouldn't be an obstacle.
