Download and color artwork from the collections of 100+ top museums and libraries.
If you're looking for unique and interesting coloring pages or some wildly varied black and white illustrations, these 100+ museums and libraries have you covered.
Since 2016, the New York Academy of Medicine has invited libraries and universities to submit pages to be downloaded and colored (or printed and enjoyed) from their collections.
These aren't your everyday coloring pages; they are curated from the collections of libraries and universities that are participating in this year's #ColorOurCollections event.
Some participants offer one coloring page from their collection and others have compiled more than one page into a downloadable book.
The pages I viewed were safe for all ages, and all are in PDF files for easy downloading and printing.
There's a list of links to the 2019 Participating Institutions if you'd rather not scroll down the main page that has illustrations from each collection. The event ran from February 4-8, 2019, but it appears the coloring sheets are still available for download.
Some (but not all) of the Color Our Collections participants from 2017 and 2018 still have coloring sheets or books available for download. Some of the links go the participants' main page, others go to the coloring pages from previous years, and some lead to this year's offering. This year's collection spans a multitude of areas so you're sure to find something you like.
