2. Cry of Fear
Developer: Team Psykskallar
Cry of Fear is a single-player, psychological surivival horror game that brings you all the horrors you have always been afraid of. The game is set in a deserted town filled with horrific creatures and nightmarish delusions. You play as a young man desperately searching for answers in the cold Scandinavian night, finding his way through the city as he slowly descends into madness.
The game uses an advanced and realistic inventory system and even allowing you to dual-weild items at a time, so that you could use a torchlight to light up dark areas and still shoot with your gun. Your cell phone acts as the flashlight to illuminate the dark areas and you've access to 24 different unique weapons to choose from. Adding to that various items can be combined to make a new effective weapon. Morphone syrignes can be used to recover lost health.
Cry of Fear was initially released as a Half-Life mod but was later released as standalone through Steam last year. The game has plenty of replayability value, multiple endings, lots of unlockables and a full co-op game for upto 4 players.

Great choices there George : )
Several I've not heard of before... in particular, Cry of Fear, Containment Breach and Organised Thief will be receiving my imminent attention. The Boson game looks fun as well.
Thanks.
George, I'm confused :-D
In this thread I can see Boson X named as the Number 10 game of 2013, followed by your posts that say "Number 9 revealed", "Number 8 revealed" etc...
I can't see any games though other than Boson X, am I missing something here?
Oh never mind! Immediately after posting this I saw the links. Sorry.
