Wallpaper of the Week: Saturn at Night

This wallpaper of the week shows Saturn’s night side as seen by Cassini spacecraft.

This week’s image is a stunning view of Saturn’s sunlit crescent with a night shadow cast across its rings. Captured by the Cassini spacecraft, the image is composed of many frames that were recorded by the spacecraft.

The image, courtesy of NASA, has a resolution of 4472 × 2101 pixels and will probably need to be resized to your preferred screen resolution. A smaller image (1080 x 507) can be downloaded directly from NASA. Note: there’s a light watermark in the lower right side of the image.
