Best Free CD Ripper

Almost all media players including Windows Media Player can rip compact discs (CDs), but there are some great free CD rippers that were impressive with their enhanced features and ability to handle problems in ripping CDs.

CD rippers vary greatly in their quality. Some rippers simply get stuck, skip forward or create a silent gap when CDs have lots of fingermarks or scratches. The best programs will try repeatedly to fix the problem with no audible effects. See also How to Work With Audio CD .CDA Files.
