Hi Pattern-chaser
As Fairportfan suggests, if your Kindle Fire is rooted, you can install the Google Play Store on it, then you'll have access to all apps on there. Instructions here.
http://tapthattech.com/2013/08/how-to-install-google-play-on-kindle-fire/
Otherwise, I've emailed the AppGratis developers and will report back to you once I have a reply in a reasonable timeframe. I will give them a few days to respond/
Not residing in Canada or the USA, I can't easily check app availability in any given country short of getting a VPN and checking each one which is not practical. There are no clues on the Developers website, but I've emailed them to find out, if that was your question. Allow a few days please so I can answer.
I haven't heard back from AppGratis following my enquiries on your behalf. That's dissapointing. There appears to be no official direct download so you can install it on your Kindle device. A search revealed you can get a version from 3rd party sites but this isn't recommended as they are not trusted, sources, so this method is at your own risk.
I haven't heard back from AppGratis, so I can't answer your question if I understand what it is you are asking if anything. Perhaps other readers from Canada can?
To Bruce_Fraser:
I did say at the end of the review, "those who are serious about taking photos with their smartphones or tablets." Most of the app functions are 'one tap' to perform. If you have a recent 10" Tablet with a screen res of 2560 x 1600 and an S Pen, you can do some decent work with it. Of course, a Mac or PC workstation with a couple of 30" LED monitors and Photoshop and a decent DSLR can do a better job, but did you miss the part about 'Free"?
Hi Photo Addict
See my previous reply. If you want to BE a Pro, you'd be using a workstation like I mentioned in that reply. Pixlr Express is arguably the closest you are likely to get to 'Pro' on a mobile device, short of some paid Adobe apps.
I don't want to get into the semantics of 'like a Pro' with you, but to me, the FREE app is the closest to it you will get without parting with money. Smartphone and Tablet users can decide for themselves if this app does what they want. If not, go see Adobe.
Hi Richardcn
I would expect that many who will use this app will have no concern about metadata in their photos. For me, I use another app, "Metadata Editor" for that purpose. While that's only a work-around, I can't see a large company like Autodesk adding something that'd take away a chunk of business from their expensive desktop solutions. What they've given us for free was hard to believe when I first saw the app. Big companies can be charitable sometimes.
Hi MikeR
Thank you for your comments. It was only a few years ago I was dragged kicking and screaming into getting a 'Smart' Phone. I saw no reason for anything other than making calls with it. The camera only served to remind me where I'd parked my car. The cameras are a lot better now.
Yes, Pixlr Express will encourage many to take their phone photography more seriously without the expense of a dedicated camera. Apps like this make it easy and more enjoyable.
That's odd pratomorone. The screenshot in this review was taken on a Samsung Galaxy S3 and the app works fine on it. Were you signed in on the same Google account you use as the primary one on the phone?
I hear you crombierob. I'm im Bendigo and I know what Melbourne weather is like :). The paid version allows a lot more settings but since those features were not a part of the free version, they were beyond the scope of my review. A good Aussie alternative is an app called 'Rain?'. Just shows your nearest local radar, in your case, Melbourne. That's all it does. Have a look. When it looks like rain, fire up the app.
Hi Rob. No problems. I'm glad you're happy. It makes our lives a lot easier when we know what the weather's doing. Happy radar watching! :) Melbourne radar is our closest one but it's been pretty dry here. That's why the screenshot shows no radar weather. There isn't any. :)
I'm sorry but I can't offer you any suggestions other than to email the app developer. According to reports, he is very responsive to enquiries. Just use the 'Email Developer' link at the bottom of the Play Store app description. I hope you can get it working for you.
@mdiener
It's great to see such good Developer responsiveness to user feedback. Thank you very much for the information you have provided. Keep up the great work!
Fabulous Rob. At last a legal and environmentally friendly way to use up the enormous caps ISP'S give us without getting a DMCA notice from Momma Bear.It will replace the carp (Deliberate miss spelling) the grand kids watch on TV. Keep up the great finds - from a fellow editor who is on sabbitical atm but coming back soon.
Yes, the spoken commands are so handy. You may need to practice using these to get the hang of it. Here's a full list from the Developers website for everyone's reference.
I wasn't able to test that. It's my understanding that Speechnotes supports multiple languages. The app uses Google's speech to text services, so technically, it should support any language that Google does. That's a lot :) So, Speechnotes will use whatever language you have set as default on your phone. Perhaps we'll get some feedback on that by users who are using other languages.
It appears to be so, according to the Developers other website. The drop down list of languages in the editor box is substantial, so I guess that answers your question.
Have a look at that site which mainly refers to the desktop version. It will give you more comprehensive details about what Speechnotes can do, and much useful general information.
Speechnotes doesn't have notes management features such as deleting no longer needed notes. I understand that the app Developer is well aware of this and plans to address it as soon as he can. At present, your only way to delete old notes is to use a File Manager app of some description. I expect that because text files are so small, that it's not going to become a storage headache. Let's see what the Dev has in-store in the next version.
Yes, you can certainly use Speechnotes offline. As I mentioned in the review, language packs can be downloaded from Google. How this is done depends on which version of Android you have. This means you don't need internet access for your notes to be converted to text. Quite a few folks just tap the Wi-Fi off button or simply disconnect from mobile data to ensure their peace of mind while using any 'Smart' device to deal with their private data. It also stops ads dead in their tracks if if the app you're using doesn't directly need the internet :)
I won't comment on privacy matters as each person has differing views on the subject.
That's not good ixan. But don't give up on it yet. The app works on Android
4.3 and up. Now, this is where it gets a bit confusing with the version numbers and names. Android Jelly Bean is versions4.1 – 4.3.1 so it's possible that the app will only work on the latest versions of Jelly Bean and above.
Unfortunately, I'm not in a position to troubleshoot your issue. The best course of action is to email the app developer. His contact email is at the bottom of the Speechnotes app page. If you hit the send button on the error you got, then he'll already knows about it.
Here are what you should include in your email. Maybe put 'Gizmo's' in the message subject. I do know this developer responds quickly because I had quite a few questions about the app while writing this review.
1. Make and Model of Android device
2. Version number of Android (found in device settings in the 'About' section
3. Is the device standard or has been modified (custom ROM or root access)
4. Describe in as much detail as possible what happens
5. Anything related that may be relevant such as what other major apps.
As well as the above, why not paste in the same text you wrote in your comments to save a little time. As long as the Dev has the info he needs, that's the main thing.
I'm sure the developer can resolve this for you. It would be a shame to quickly discard a potentially useful app because of some fixable hiccup. I'd appreciate if you can inform me of the outcome please ixan.
No problems ixan. The point is this is arguably the best voice note-taking app available right now. If nobody reports issues, nothing gets improved. It's totally up to you what you decide to do. If it was me, I'd be wondering why it's working great for everyone else, but not me. What's different in my setup? That doesn't make the app a write-off. We can only try :)
Malware Removal:
I usually use the following method to remove malwares from Windows:
(1) Run Malwarebyte Anti-Malware, do a quick scan. Wait till completed. List out the names and locations of these malware and record it.
(2) Remove them all. But some cannot be removed and come back again after restarting
the Windows. For example, trying to remove "Conduit.." malware, a program called
"Rundll32.exe" cannot be removed from Windows.
Locate this program (in /Windows/SysWOW64/Rundll32.exe.
(3) Shutdown the Windows.
(4) Run a Linux OS, such as Knoppix from a bootable USB Flash Drive.
(5) Locate that program and rename it , e.g. to Rundll32.exeBAK. Do not delete it. It might be needed by other program.
Shutdown the Knoppix and restart your Windows. That malware should have gone.
Have fun.
MusicBee does not play WMA files (check their forumn). It was a very nice player even with that handicap but had to settle for MediaMonkey music player and once you get it set up to your liking (which may take a little time) you'll agree that you've made the better choice (and it plays WMA with no issues). Great sound with the DFX Audio Enhancer.I don't see where it's heavy on resources. No issues, crashes, etc yet on my Windows 7 64bit PC.
With the recent run on with the Bettersurf virus,do you think it wise to recommend the Google Chrome browser or add-ons until this has been resolved? In Yahoo Answers there has been an alarming increase in infection and those looking for answers to remove it from their Google Chrome browsers.
Gentibus CD - "for the people" - is a very good name and choice if you're looking for a tool to organize your CD/DVD collection. The scan on CDs, DVDs or hard disks can be categorized and searched. The advanced search function will also find "Harry Po" if you're looking for "Harry Potter". Gentibus CD will find duplicates, smartly discovers image, audio, video and program files as 'super-categories' on its own, which comes very handy when you're archiving a medium with mixed content. A very pleasing feature is that Gentibus CD will show you thumbnails of any pictures you might have archived on your CD/DVD so you will be able to search them somewhat as a virtual CD.
This darn thing kept telling me my data access files where not installed despite installing the latest one.
Hello Gizmodians, I have been using the suggestions on this site for many years. I need some help with this one. I would like to put multiple animated gif files in a folder, then view the files in a grid format with dimensions I specify(to cover entire monitor space) while remaining animated. Does anyone know of a program capable of this? If not what would the code be to create a webpage that would meet those requirements? Thank you fro your consideration and keep up the good work, Sincerely, Tappy
I just tested TrayIt quickly and work but it seem to be some issues. If I use the "place in tray" function and choose "hide window", then restore the window and close the program, the icon for the program still stay in the tray. So if I start the same program and want to minimize to tray again I suddenly have 2 icons for same program. It clutter the tray and create some confusion but don't seem to create any real problems.
Thanks for the information. I love Gizmo's, using it almost daily, thanks for the great work :D
GFI backup look really good. I'm surprised that backup programs like this is not in the review, yet :)
After having problem with sleep mod waking up right after starting it, this guide help me fix it.
My network card was the reason, no idea why since it has not been a problem before.
When I used "powercfg –lastwake" in cmd, I got this message "invalid parameters", but it seem to work with "powercfg /lastwake" and also "powercfg lastwake"
Thanks for this, I've been looking for a tool that does this. And BTW I had no problem with 3 or 5 GB: I downloaded 10 GB of emails with no problems (except the time it took!).
This piece of software came along at just the right time for me.
I had no problems downloading and activating and using the software although when I ran it again later in the day there was a splash screen that says it is 'time limited'. So maybe one day soon it will stop working. I saw the Xmas code reference under the little man icon - esoteric to say the least. Although the executable has xmas in its name.
This company had a Halloween (2013) freebie for their platinum pro ripper which I downloaded, installed and activated but never actually used until last week. The splash screen on that application informed me that they had changed the registration process and I could go to whatever link they provided. That was an invitation to upgrade for money and on the same page were warnings that activation codes leaked on to the internet would not work. I could not see why my activated application should be crippled unless they had made an error in their generosity and were regretting it.
Thank you Rob for this one, a most timely posting. It (winx DVD copy)salvaged a damaged DVD that other DVDsoftware choked on!
I didn't notice any keylogging information during the install.
I was informed however during the installation that I would have to install Windows Media Player.
I didn't want to install Windows Media Player or windows Media Feature Pack aka Windows6.3-KB2835517-x64.msu (85.0 MB download) but what's a boy to do when logitech can't provide a working driver for his webcam. Worked on Windows 7 and now doesn't on Windows 8.1 despite downloading their latest driver.
It will fire up the webcam OK but fails on recording a video countdown remains on a loop. I visited Logitech's help forum and at at least one other user had the same problem. That user went backwards and forwards downloading the latest driver then the last but one driver and then extra codecs (never a good sign from advice person - sort of like, have you plugged in your webcam? a question of tech desperation). Nothing worked. The brats need to rebuild their driver again.
So I am pleased by this free offer brought to us by George.J
I have been using Slimjet as my primary browser for years and it works very well. One feature that Chrome doesn't have which Slimjet does well is opening new tabs for links, searches, address bar entries and bookmarks without having to do anything extra like a second key click. You can also use all chrome extensions and synch everything with google. Has a password manager built in too. It is highly customizable and is also updated regularly to keep pace with Chrome updates since it is based on Chrome. Firefox used to be my favorite but Slimjet has taken its place.
Most cd/dvd burning software can create ISOs as well as burn directly to disk. Generally you'll have the option with burning software to burn to disk, or "burn" to hard drive.
Ok, I’ll bite. Not many, but some - but that’s not really the point. If you were aware of these places, then it wouldn’t be an emergency. You’d know ahead of time that you’d need cash. By definition, an emergency is something you aren’t expecting. I agree- in a big city this is less likely to be an issue than traveling for example, or in an unfamiliar area. But even around home or in a big city, this is a good tip for some people. If you really can’t think of any situations when having emergency cash would be useful - and don’t have access to ATM/Debit, here are some.
Heaven forbid your wallet gets lost or stolen. It would be handy to have some cash hiding in your phone case, until you can get that sorted out.
Standing in a checkout with a bunch of groceries and your card is declined for no apparent reason. Maybe a bank error. Glitches happen – cards have issues swiping or scanning sometimes. Surely you’ve been in line behind someone whose card just won’t swipe - the cashier breathes on it, licks it and wipes it on their pants, sticks it on their forehead, rubs it in their armpit, then wraps it paper - trying to get a good swipe. Sometimes cards or scanners just fail. Maybe that’s the guy in front of you, maybe that’s you :). Sure – you can leave all your groceries on the counter and go to an ATM and get some cash, or go to your bank and sort it out – assuming your bank is open – but that’s a bit inconvenient either way. Or you can pull out your emergency cash and be on your way..
Go out for a night with friends and forgot your wallet at home. You can borrow some money from your friends, or pay your own way with your secret “phone cash”.
Maybe you’ve spent more money than you realize and have none left in your account – or you have a shared account and didn’t realize your spouse/partner had made a big purchase and drained the account. Glitch with your payroll deposit…
Even in a big city – while traveling, your bank locks down your account due to “suspicious activity”. That’s happened to many people, myself included. Sure you can call them and get that sorted out- but when do you usually find out for the first time? – When you’re standing in front of a cashier trying to pay for something.
Maybe you didn’t notice that your card had expired. No problem – leave some collateral for the store/restaurant/gas station you’re at, go home and find the new card - then go back and pay for your items. Maybe not an emergency, but inconvenient. Would be nice if you just had $50 hiding in your phone case :).
Pull into a gas station running on fumes and see a sign on the door – “Network is down - sorry cash only”. Drive to another gas station? To an ATM and back? Not sure you’ll have enough gas to make it... Take a chance, or walk to the nearest ATM. Broad daylight in a nice area? No problem. Late at night in a scary neighborhood? Pouring rain? Even $10 cash would be really handy to get you on your way.
Those are just some examples that could happen in a big city scenario- never mind traveling or more rural areas or long stretches of highway with fewer ATMs and credit/debit access. Many people don’t live in big cities and having paper money available “just in case” could be a good idea. If you don’t this is useful - that’s cool :). I didn’t think it was such a ridiculous tip :).
It worked for me. I put my email address in the form and in the "feedback" field I asked about removing the watermark. I got an instant auto-reply email from Microsoft "thanking me for my request". Then about three hours later I got an email with the license key from Microsoft..
Hi
This is my first post and I would like to say thanks to everyone for sharing their knowledge, it's a great boon to the uninitiated like me.
I have a new laptop with windows 8 and don't like the photo imaging "apps" that came with it, I was quite happy with Picture Manager (vista) as it did most of the things I needed, crop, brightness/contrast fix, file compression etc.
So I went looking for a suitable replacement....Photo! Editor looked like it may suit my needs although I was unsure if was compatible with Win8, I checked a few other reviews which suggested it was All Win compatible so I downloaded it. It has loaded OK and I can view the images but won't actually make any changes. I hope someone can put me on the right path to fixing this as it looks like a great program for me.
once again thanks for all your assistance, to especially to the newbies :)
Hi Joe A.TT thanks for your welcoming response. I suspected that it may no longer be an active program after I saw the last post dates on the forum. You're right it is a shame that it seems abandoned and unusable at least as far as win8 is concerned. I will have a look at the ones you suggested and see if they suit.
I read quite a few of the posts but must have missed yours, sorry.Perhaps a note needs to be made in the review to save others from experiencing this problem.
thanks again TT
Hi Joe A.TT
Just thought I would thank you for recommending Photo Filtre, I have d/l and had a bit of a play and it looks like it will be perfect for my needs.
I can certainly recommend it to other new users as a fairly easy program to get the hang of so you can start quickly and as you gain more experience there are lots of other advanced functions.
WPS has a keyboard shortcut for screengrabs that is identical to several keyboard shortcuts for diacritic signs in my language (Polish)., There is no way to disable it. So people who want to write in languages other than English and who use right Alt key for diacritic signs should beware.
The latest updtae of WPS started messing with my Windows 10 system - I was unable to launch Windows Explorer from the taskbar, various right-clicks didn't work, I was also unable to launch Windows command prompt as an administrator. I realized that WPS was the problem only after I created a new Windows profile and transferred all my data (took me half a day) Then I installed WPS and boom, the problems started again. I was so mad.
I tried Abiword, Jarte and Polyedit Lite. Unfortunately neither of them works with revisions which is a problem for me (a lot files going back and forth between me and my editor). Additionally, PolyEdit Lite comes bundled with Pokki and some kind of game package, even though I unchecked all the opt-in boxes during the installation. So, it's back to Open Office for me, bloated as it is.
i found this here on your website,i have been using it for a month now and i would like to say that maybe its time we take one of the everyday we hear about antivirus programs that are bloated so badly today and help out those that brought me Unthreat Antivirus.Hope this isn't against the rules, but if anyone else out there is looking for a good antivirus, give this a try.thanks love the website.
Or you can just use copy /b command in a CMD prompt:
copy /b "part1.mp3+part2.mp3+part3.mp3" "combined.mp3"
This can give a lot of problems with playback, converting and etc. It sounds like this is the way the above program works.
I thought it was the mouse waking from sleep but found after disabling the mouse that even if I move the mouse it still wakes even though the -lastwake command was showing the keyboard doing it. Guess I'll just unplug the mouse for now.
So...if I find the correct .iso for my win7x64 (hm prem) burn that to a dvd or cd use that to boot to then use my System Image I have created I should be back in business if all goes well, am I on the right track here? I have an HP desktop and want to avoid all the bloatware and hassle of having to reconfig my pc to OEM (I changed the HDD to SSD and gfx card and RAM sticks) my hp recovery discs wont work unless I revert back to that set up...BTDT. Just trying to find a hassle free way to if needed to get it back to now.
Nowadays, most web browsers always warn users about dangerous websites by giving a notification, e.g., Not Safe, Dangerous Warning, Your Connection Is Not Private ... so on. These methods help users to know which websites are safe from visiting. But sometimes for testing purposes, you might want to turn off these warnings. Let's take a look at this guide!
This is one of the geekiest of geek programs. Not a bad thing if you're a tech or programmer. But for the rest of us non tech folks, this is massive information overkill.
Alex did a nice programming job. I had no trouble loading it in Win 7 64 bit. It's just that the program provides far more information about your computer than you and most people will ever need, or understand.
If someone would sit down and write 3 or 4 practical examples of the use of the program, it might make it more desirable to have on the hard drive.
Interesting that there is no mention of RoboCopy (built in to Windows 7 and newer, and available for download for older versions). Several GUIs exist for it that provide various types of assistance. I was just reading about RichCopy, written by a Microsoft engineer, and it seems to have some features asked for in other comments (select folder to copy, for one). Apparently, a new version of RichCopy is expected shortly as of this writing...
Thanks again for your help on 04/01/2013. Have a different question now. My sister has given me some DVD-Rs that she has added photos that automatically play in a sequence with music and stupid special effects (exploding stars, shrinking imagery, ect.). I wish to copy the photos from this DVD she's authored, and get the captions she's associated with these photos as well, without all the special effects and musics-Just photos and captions. Is there a free software product that will do this? If not, what software would you recommend?
It would appear that she created it with a software called Roxioplasma (2005) and there are .bup, .vob, and .ifo files that this application creates. I need something to open these files so I can pull the photos out with.
In my opinion, the best video conversion program for most tasks is VLC, it's free, robust, and not full of malware like many of the free programs out there. It does most every format.
Hi,
I'm the maintainer of DoxBox.
If you follow the installation instructions, it puts Windows into 'TestMode' that allows DoxBox to run without signed drivers. If you have problems with this, please post on the forums http://doxbox.squte.com/groups/doxbox or create a new github issue https://github.com/t-d-k/doxbox/issues.
Please note, it has not been tested on Windows 10.

I have been using Panda Cloud free for a few weeks and am generally pleased. However, it can use a lot of memory at times...Just my system or have others here experienced this?
The Eraser program does not erase anything securely in my experience. I have used it for some 2 yrs and thought it was Ok until I tried to erase unused space. That is when I found out that at least 50% of the items I thought had been erased were in fact easily recovered using the freeware program "Testdisk and Photorec from www.cgsecurity.org"
Even after 4 times using 7 passes and 1 time 35 passes most of the erased files were recovered.
Be careful recommending the Eraser program from Heidi especially when one plans to sell or give away an old computer.
I wonder if any readers can help. I am looking for a file manager that lets me see the total size of any selected folder and also the total aggregated size of a selection of multiple folders. The tools seem to miss this and rely on you looking at properties or drilling down inside a folder. I am looking to backup a number of folders but within a limit and cannot seem to find a tool that will help me see either the size of a folder or the total size of a selection of folders. Thanks in advance..
@sicknero . Thanks. Yes I tried it and it works. Was me being stupid, when I tried FC earlier I think I was looking at the library rather than the folder -which seems to give a different reading. Very much appreciate the response and help..
Thanks for flagging up Infinite Password Generator (IPG). This is very topical for me at the moment as I am trying to find a convenient but powerful way to secure the use of Keepass. Just a few points tho'. I note below that not many have added the use of a key file as a further mechanism to secure access - is that not a consideration? I am playing with IPG; am I right in assuming that the particular instance of IPG that I am using will generate a unique password string for me based on my key phrase? For example if someone else gets my key phrase then can they generate the same p/w from their version of IPG? I am also bothered by key logging grabbing my key phrase - how can that be stopped with IPG as I see that keyscrambler - which I use - doesn't work with IPG? I'm a novice as my username suggests.
Allway Sync 'n' Go is my personal choice for a file/folder synchronization utility. Pluses are it runs portably, it has plenty of customizations to sync jobs, runs automatically in the background or on a scheduled basis, has a pleasing GUI, was easy to learn without use of help files, and I have had none of the problems talked about in the comments for this article.
Though I don't use FreeFileSync I have tried out the installer and portable versions obtained from the developer at http://www.freefilesync.org and am pleased to say that in version 7.8 there are no bundled pups or use of open candy. The links in the article should be changed as the sourceforge download link only downloads a text file saying to go to the developer's site for the real download.
I have been a FreeFileSync user for a long time. No more. Synchredible is great. Enough so that I bought the premium version in order to support the developer.
My security software claimed this is a phishing site. I doubt it but is there some way to verify independently if this is true of this site or not? Thanks.
FYI, just downloaded and installed CDBurnerXP. Have used it for some time and had seen the Candy program before.
It's gone now. Clean install. Nice, sweet, clean install.
I suspect the users downloading it were savvy enough to simply avoid the spam.
People like me would rather donate to the company than deal with spam.

I'm sure the developer can resolve this for you. It would be a shame to quickly discard a potentially useful app because of some fixable hiccup. I'd appreciate if you can inform me of the outcome please ixan.

Hello bernardz
Yes, it is versatile. I posted a list of voice commands in another reply here.

Is this any better than Deskroll? Free for all?
Interesting
Lessen those browser vulnerabilities with the JonDoFox browser.
It seem to integrate with Forefox at least :)
Which Download manager is fastest? Dont want anything else..
I downloaded backup maker but was disappointed to see that it don't have volume Shadow Copy functionality.
Does anyone knows about a freeware backup program that has shadow Copy functionality and automatic incremental or automatic differential backup?
Thanks for the information. I love Gizmo's, using it almost daily, thanks for the great work :D
GFI backup look really good. I'm surprised that backup programs like this is not in the review, yet :)
I got the same warning. It came from Bitdefender Trafficlight addon to Firefox.
Thanks for help :)
yeah it look abandoned, maybe an update would be nice :)
Nice idea, output looks pretty good, but a limit of 500 x 500 pixels on the outputted layer is quite limiting, sadly.
Thanks for this, I've been looking for a tool that does this. And BTW I had no problem with 3 or 5 GB: I downloaded 10 GB of emails with no problems (except the time it took!).
I received a notification from Google yesterday that they would no longer allow Upsafe to access my Gmail.
Enjoy your retirement and thank you so much for many years of useful information. I'm glad too that the site will be continuing in good hands.
Thanks, quite a lot to take in but indeed worth a read.

All the best for your retirement. This is a "go to" site for me every single day.
Many thanks.
I've used Cute PDF writer for years and have never had a problem with it.
Bamboo Reader add-on for firefox works beautifully as a replacement for google reader
PC Pitstop runs excellent tests and does comparisons all online and requires no installation. Runs best in Internet Explorer.
Only seems to work for UK search results.
Try out this site for testing Microsoft Edge for free: https://www.browserstack.com
The page you need is this: http://www.techsupportalert.com/best-free-cd-dvd-burning-software.htm (burning, not emulating)
Most cd/dvd burning software can create ISOs as well as burn directly to disk. Generally you'll have the option with burning software to burn to disk, or "burn" to hard drive.
You have an interesting idea of an “emergency” if you always have access to an ATM anytime and anywhere :).
I have the same problem, or it seems to bookmark the page before the one I want marked.
I read quite a few of the posts but must have missed yours, sorry.Perhaps a note needs to be made in the review to save others from experiencing this problem.
thanks again TT
thanks Anupam will have to check it out
My laptop shuts down when running this app.
i found this here on your website,i have been using it for a month now and i would like to say that maybe its time we take one of the everyday we hear about antivirus programs that are bloated so badly today and help out those that brought me Unthreat Antivirus.Hope this isn't against the rules, but if anyone else out there is looking for a good antivirus, give this a try.thanks love the website.
Or you can just use copy /b command in a CMD prompt:
copy /b "part1.mp3+part2.mp3+part3.mp3" "combined.mp3"
This can give a lot of problems with playback, converting and etc. It sounds like this is the way the above program works.
An old favorite of mine is Merge MP3 from:
http://www.shchuka.com/software/mergemp3/index.html
This removes the header of each file prior to mergeing, and have never given me any problems.
I give it a 5 star rateing. Use this all the time- Just love it.
I think here is three of the best free antivirus software for multi-platform, including Windows, Mac OS X, Android and iOS.
- Avast
- AVG
- Avira
Nowadays, most web browsers always warn users about dangerous websites by giving a notification, e.g., Not Safe, Dangerous Warning, Your Connection Is Not Private ... so on. These methods help users to know which websites are safe from visiting. But sometimes for testing purposes, you might want to turn off these warnings. Let's take a look at this guide!
https://bytebitebit.com/687/your-connection-is-not-private/
I'm getting an error message after installing and trying to boot Perspective 1.0.
"...Source\Graphics\GraphicsContext.cpp(2154):DX error

Hi Anupam,
Thanks again for your help on 04/01/2013.
Thanks,
Tom

Does anyone have experience with either the Anonymox extension or the Anonymouse search engine? If yes, how much privacy/anonymity do each provide?
The Eraser program does not erase anything securely in my experience. I have used it for some 2 yrs and thought it was Ok until I tried to erase unused space. That is when I found out that at least 50% of the items I thought had been erased were in fact easily recovered using the freeware program "Testdisk and Photorec from www.cgsecurity.org"
Even after 4 times using 7 passes and 1 time 35 passes most of the erased files were recovered.
Be careful recommending the Eraser program from Heidi especially when one plans to sell or give away an old computer.
Good for gamers who have a lot of time to spend online and for those who have very less ram or graphics card.
I use Aldiko and Lektz reader to access my eBooks. Lektz does provide support for both ePub and PDF books.
Youmail is a great. Lots of cool features and works with my AT&T voicemail. I think it works with most carriers. youmail.com

When installing it says "Publisher Unverified"
Thanks.
360 Total Security.
Just sayin.
