A Final Entry In Our Pick Of The Free Mind Mappers [1]
I've been writing about mind mapping programs here recently, and have already covered XMind (https://www.techsupportalert.com/content/free-version-worlds-best-known-... [3]) and Mind Meister (https://www.techsupportalert.com/content/get-your-mind-organized-2018.htm [4]). Before I leave the topic for a while, here's one more that you may wish to look at.
Blumind is a freeware program for Windows that looks slightly dated nowadays, but that's not always a bad thing. Especially if, like me, you don't necessarily like the ribbon-based design that much software now sports. Apart from that, Blumind is a basic mind map program with all the features you'd expect, including a variety of export formats too.
You'll find more about Blumind at https://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=2217 [5] from where you can also download the latest version, which works just fine under Windows 7, 8 and 10. The download is only around 1 MB, and it's available in an installable or portable version.
I tested the installable version, and it caused no concerns for VirusTotal's malware checkers. Web of Trust rates the download site as reputable too.
