385,000 Windows Wallpapers And An Auto-Changer Program [1]
I'm probably a bit old-fashioned when it comes to Windows desktop wallpapers. I prefer mine plain blue, though I have been known to change the precise shade and hue on occasion. But when it comes to full-screen pictures of celebrities, cars, landscapes and so on, I prefer to live without the distraction.
If you, however, like using Windows wallpapers then look no further than a free program called My Daily Wallpaper. The name is ever so slightly misleading. Not only can it automatically download and apply a new wallpaper for you every day, it can even do so more frequently if you prefer. Every time you log in to Windows, for example, or even on a timed schedule. New background every hour? Not a problem. And with some 385,000 images in its repertoire you're unlikely to get bored.
Each of the images is categorized so you can choose which type of pictures you'd like to appear.
My Daily Wallpaper is free and portable, and http://www.myportablesoftware.com/mydailywallpaper.aspx [3] is where you'll find the downloader. It runs on Windows 7 and above. The program is malware-free according to VirusTotal and Web of Trust. My thanks to Rhiannon for the tip-off.
