Wallpaper of the Week: Triangular Concrete Structure

toggle-button

This week's wallpaper is an image a layered concrete structure with layered triangular openings narrowing to the light at the top. I have no idea what this is an image of, but it makes a terrific black and white background with a nice balance of light and shadow, shapes, and texture. Icons show up pretty well on most areas of this image.

After a little research, it's an image of a structure (in Armenia) to break up the force of a raging river.
Personally, I think it looks better in sepia. The metal seems to pop a bit better.

Thank you for finding out what the structure is. It looked like concrete to me in the black and white version, but it could easily be metal. :)
I didn't see the sepia version. I like both equally well.

Thanks Jojo. :)

Keep em coming !
I still can't get beyond Collision, for some reason it doesn't get 'old'.
Halloween looms..:)

You just made the hours I spend hunting these down a lot brighter, thank you. :)
I know what you mean, I have a handful of images that show up on my monitors regularly, they don't get old for me.

Oddly enough I was looking at Halloween wallpapers today.  :)
