Unfortunately, my original post was removed because someone started going off-topic by selectively quoting it. Therefore, here are the new posts:

4.3.16 is released, and I officially give up. More details and a quote since my post will likely be moderated: https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=63556

As posted above, several similar reports including mine have gone unheeded and yet another embarrassment of a release was prematurely uploaded. I won't bother posting another VBoxStartup.log, in fact I'm sick of wasting my time treating my computer as a guinea pig for some practically counterproductive "security". Long live 4.3.12, and may there be a fork without such nonsense.

P.S. All required details have already been posted in one form or another in the referencedthread, I'm not going to bother repeating them.

I've just gone via help-> update in an older version and it points to 4.3.12 not any later version.

Just found this thread. Weird. I had a few bizarre problems including an error message which occurred every time I clicked on one of my guest OSs. It was frustrating. The solution was to switch to version 4.3.15 RC. Downloading 4.3.16 and hoping nothing goes wrong.

If it was fixed for you at 4.3.15 RC, then 4.3.16 shouldn't have any problems. They even removed the post above mine that only described what we were experiencing, the nerve. I'm sticking with 4.3.12 until I'm forced to upgrade or migrate.

Finally, VirtualBox 4.3.18 is working properly. Seriously, I see nothing wrong with it for once.

4.3.18 isn't working for me, I get an error relating to VboxDD.dll.

The initial program runs ok, but any attempt to run a virtual machine returns this error

Some googling shows a lot of users to be having the same problem and annoyingly I can't even get older versions to run now.

Hey guys, I've never used Virtualbox before, but am wanting to try it. Can you point me to a good tutorial on how to use it? A document is fine, but a video would be even better.

Thanks.
