Default Bolide Slideshow Creator

hi!

I want to suggest our new tool - Bolide Slideshow Creator. It is a free video slideshow maker for windows. Current version allows you to save a slideshow video in MKV, AVI or WMV file in up to FullHD resolution. Background music is supported as well as dozens of transition effects.

Yes, I am a developer and you can post your suggestions and bug reports here too If you notice, that the program is not available in your native language, please help us to translate it!

The program is currently translated to: English, Russian, German, Bulgarian, Czech, Macedonian, Portuguese (Brazilian), Romanian, Serbian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish. We got a French translation as well recently, but it is not included to the installation file yet.

A great tool Bolide. The user interface is clean and simple, easy to use. I gave it a quick try and it worked pretty well though I would need more time to test it out more thoroughly.

By the way, I seemed to miss the feature of panning and zooming as supported by Photo Story. Will Bolide Slideshow Creator cover that in addition to the transition effects?

Yes, we are going to implement panning and zooming in v1.3 or v1.4. It is already in our to-do list

For v1.2 we are working on adding text commentaries

What I want to know is if I can burn selected images to a DVD and play it on a DVD player. Will BSC let me do that?

Thus far all I've done is burn coasters using:
Imgburn 2.5.6.0
DVD Slideshow GUI 0.9.4.9.
Windows DVD maker

Current version can't burn DVDs, only saves the slideshow as AVI, MKV or WMV file.

By the way, we released v1.2 today with the ability to add text comments for slides

We have added a fullscreen preview feature in v1.3
Moreover, the program can add shooting date to the slide and more...

bolide,
First impression, nice work. I'll need more time to experiment and will report back. It's interesting, a few days ago I just finished a slideshow for an extra on a DVD.

Thanks Bolide. I find it very easy to use. It worked pretty well for me. I was wondering if a portable version can be made available?

Thanks.
