I came accross a small program that enables users to right click any file/folder and select "Copy File Name" from the context menu. The file name will be copied in to the clipboard and you have a choice to copy only the file name, short path or long path to the file. I searched for this program here but couldn't find it. If it is already posted somewhere in the site please feel free to delete my comment.

Hi,
If you are just trying to copy the files names into the clipboard try the following - Click Start, click Run, type cmd, and then click OK. change to the appropriate directory using the cd command. type dir Using the mouse, highlight the file names you want to copy. Press the right mouse button - this copies the selected text onto the clipboard. |
