In a post on its blog page, Google confirmed, "We are aware of reports that an exploit for CVE-2020-15999 exists in the wild."

Ben Hawkes, from Google's Project Zero team, also added: "Project Zero discovered and reported an actively exploited 0day in freetype that was being used to target Chrome. A stable release that fixes this issue (CVE-2020-15999) is available."

Click on the Chrome Menu then tap "About Chrome" and check you have Version 86.0.4240.111 installed.

Firefox can install critical updates by itself, If you choose to let it. Why doesn't Chrome have Auto-Update?
