The right click path on My computer shows that I have a "total paging file size for all drives of 1524mb. This is more than my lap top as and I have never gotten a critical memory...

Guys, I am not nearly as tech savvy as I need to be-- although I try to learn when there is a chance. In my mind it is in the hard drive that the memory is not giving me the space I need....
