The image is not clear.

Also, why would you want to use a software version released in 2011? Why not try other software? BurnAware Free is a good software for disc burning. Try it.

Personally I use ImgBurn, the current version 2.5.8.0 released 16th June 2013.

I have no problems with it and find it excellent. It's still listed as Gizmo's top pick. You do need to be aware that it comes bundled with Open Candy, but the same applies to BurnAware Free as well.

Thanks a lot guys , i will check out Burn aware . I noticed that Image burn also installs a program called PcWincap which was version 4.12 but i went to the PcWincap site and it said the latest is version 4.13 .

Oddly, Secunia even after numerous scans does not update it to 4.13 and doesn't seem to know there is a newer version.

The last version of ImgBurn was released over a year ago, so it's understandable that WinPcap is of an older version. However, this version of WinPcap was released months before the last version of ImgBurn came out, so don't know what's the matter here.

Thanks a lot Anupam , i was just concerned about the program being vulnerable if it was not the latest version .

I like to make sure my computer has all the latest versions of programs because so many don't pay attention to it and think that the only thing they need to do is make sure 'Windows update " is current .

I can't believe how many have outdated versions of Flash , Java (if they use it) and just ignore other program updates that have little if anything to do with WU.

It's good to have latest versions of software, because the latest versions often bring improvements, and bug fixes and new features. However, it does not mean that if a software is outdated, it is vulnerable. Depends on the kind of software too. For example, browsers should be kept updated. Same about flash player, Adobe Reader, etc.

In short, any program that accesses the internet is vulnerable to remote hackers. Good to have a firewall to block the connections.
