Default Windows mobile SDk to develop apps for blackberry devices?

Hello all,

I want to know if I develop APIs and extensions using Windows Mobile Platform will it also support blackberry devices and Pocket PC and smart phones.

No. WMP is for Windows only.

You will have to use a development environment that supports most or all platforms. As Odinbc points out the Wikipedia article is a good place to start.

Honestly, I'd have to ask [I]why[I]you would want to develop in Blackberry? I know, I know, there's the argument that so many people use still use BB, but the issue with them is that it is such a weak platform as the devices themselves have so little memory that even the simplest of apps will bog down on a BB. Not to mention there's just no future in it, so many of the developers out there don't even really bother with it. It's like saying you want to make the coolest Yellow Pages ever.
