The only Tablets I use are almost exclusively for reading books and as such have really changed my reading habits.
The biggest change is that I now use the web access of the tablet to look up things immediately as I come across them and that adds so much to the reading experience.
For example if the Author mentions a specific model of something, it is easy to look it up and actually see it and read the details.

Haven't the world always been in a "post PC" zone? At least since I remember my young self it has. People would always prefer a console over a PC and would always go for that one.

They were cheaper, did not need installations and silly stuff and some of the were portable. Sure computers were great and all, but I never felt PC was ever something that really attracted attention. I just never it always had a specific amount of it that never really went away.

No, because PCs became popular in the 1980s. I'm sure the 70s weren't a Post-PC world.

The thread started off firmly rooted in the current decade, the 2010s. It makes no sense to take it back into earlier decades for at least two reasons:
  • the changing meaning of the terms used
Even within the current decade, the meaning of the term "PC" can change depending upon the context:

  • the lack of a real context for considering a post-PC world before about 2005.
