Default Simplest app ever? one digit, updated by any user: floor in carpark

I am seeking the best way to allow:
Three users each on different mobiles, and without any need to run our own data server, to store a live log of the floor in the carpark where we have left the same car. we all have keys but forget to tell each other which floor its been left on.

Any ideas for current apps that do this in a nice simple way?

Its surely a common generic need with many similar needs.

Any ideas welcome, trawling through the apps store has not found it yet.

Ideally there would be a master account which is then used to allow others on other devices to also update the number, and a log of all past data for the number to also be available.

For any user their device would be recognised and no further identification needed.

Ideas on a postcard please

Welcome to the forum.

If all three of you use a messaging app, why not just message each other and tell the floor number?

Hi, there is a simplicity in there being just one place where we could go to see the last entry. I suppose you are saying that we use a single messaging app which we don't already use for something else, which is perhaps the solution I am seeking.

On the other hand this requirement seems so obvious for all sorts of shared pico-data (as oppossed to big data) that I was surprised its not covered somewhere in the applications already out there.

Thanks for you reply, we shall consider that...

Does no "data server" mean no Internet solution provided by a third-party?
Does the solution have to use only mobile phones?

If a web solution is acceptable then there are many potential options in addition to multi-platform apps:
  • Notes/sticky notes/whiteboards etc: some have journalling to allow tracking of authors and changes
  • Appointment calendar: use location field; records who made appointment and when so have log

Most multi-platform and web products use a master account with password access.
