Question What do you expect of your phone cleaner?

Nowadays, with incessant upgrading, more and more phone cleaner apps are becoming more multifunctional. Take the Clean Master for instance, it provides 27 languages as well as mobile security, lookout security blurr blurr. Once you install one of them, over 10 BM some even over 20 BM of your phone memory will be taken up. There are too many accessories attached to them. But some people seem not to pay much attention to it. But as for me, I just want a simple, tiny, safe and user-friendly one. But now, itís really hard to find such one. Sometimes, when I look at my phone, seeing that heavy app, I canít help reminding of my heavy life. Who can help me get rid of such a tiresome feeling? Some of my girls suggest that Toolwiz Cleaner maybe right for me. I have no idea. Iíve searched its info, which seems not bad. But I donít know if I should install it. Can anybody give me some advice.

In an other thread, you actually recommended Toolwiz Cleaner to the OP... whereas, in this thread, you are asking about it yourself... whether to install it or not. What's the actual situation? Are you recommending it, or asking about it?

Are you associated with Toolwiz in any way?

Because of this thread, I took a look at both Clean Master, and Toolwiz Cleaner again. I had Clean Master before on my phone, and while it was good, I kept 1TapCleaner, which I like more.

I have to say that the claims made in this thread are false, and this seems just a trick to promote Toolwiz Cleaner, which is a fairly new product, by slandering Clean Master.

First off, Toolwiz Cleaner seems to be a straight rip-off of Clean Master. The interface is almost the same, with almost same looks and appearances, and working too. Even the functions offered are pretty much the same in both apps.

Clean Master has been there for a long long time now, and it's quite popular, and it has proved itself. There have been lacs of download and it enjoys a good rating.

Whereas, Toolwiz Cleaner is pretty much new. Therefore, anyone can make out that Toolwiz Cleaner have ripped off Clean Master, in terms of interface, looks, and functionality.

Apart from doing that, trying to make Clean Master look bad compared to Toolwiz Cleaner, in order to promote it, is really a very very bad and awful strategy. Please don't consider people as fools. Ripping off a known proven product, and then slandering that product itself, is like shooting yourself in the foot.

I have been using Toolwiz Time Freeze on my computer for quite a long time now, and I am pretty impressed by it. There are many other good free utilities available from Toolwiz. So, I am really surprised and very disappointed at such a thing coming from Toolwiz. If this thread and post is by a team member from Toolwiz, I must say I am really disappointed. Even if it's not by a team member, it certainly isn't a good thing on their part to base their app on another popular app. It's literally a rip-off.

Regarding things about Clean Master posted in this thread... isn't it a good thing that an app is available in many languages? I don't see it as a disadvantage... it's only an advantage that many people can use this app in their language. It's something to be appreciated. Also, mobile security, or Look Security is mentioned in the post. That's a totally different app, and has no connection with Clean Master. No extras is bundled with Clean Master... it remains a cleaner app basically. So, claims made in this thread by brightfuture, are false.

Regarding the size. Clean Master download is 7.75 MB, whereas that of Toolwiz Cleaner is 6.45 MB. Not much difference there.
The install size of Clean Master is total of around 16 MB, whereas that of Toolwiz Cleaner is around 7.5 MB. This is a noticeable difference, but if you have enough of space, nothing much to consider.

But, here comes the interesting part, when both apps are running, Clean Master occupies around 20 MB of memory, whereas Toolwiz Cleaner occupies around 22 MB of memory. So, in fact, Toolwiz Cleaner occupies higher memory than Clean Master.

In terms of features, both have the same features.. junk files, privacy, app manager, ram booster. So, the claims that Clean Master packs in extra, are again, absolute false.

I see this thread as a bad bad attempt to promote Toolwiz Cleaner, by making Clean Master look bad.

My suggestion for everyone would be to avoid Toolwiz Cleaner. It seems to be a rip-off of Clean Master, which is a proven app, and very popular. Therefore, go for the original, which is Clean Master. Do not pay attention to the false claims made in the thread by brightfuture.

brightfuture, your recommendation for Toolwiz Cleaner in the other thread is being deleted.

Nice call Anupam.

A Google of brightfuture and toolwiz shows quite a few posts for toolwiz cleaner in recent days.

Almost certainly a spammer.

Thanks for that, Steve.

Yes, a Google search does turn up some results... although, I found only one active link, but it was enough to show that this is promotional, and spam.
